SME/ Corporate Bank Account

An operating account is the first thing a new UAE entity needs and the thing most often delayed. We package the file the way compliance reads it, put it in front of the bank whose appetite actually matches the business, and stay on it until the IBAN is live.

Account Structuring & Bank Selection

Mainland, free zone and offshore entities are not read the same way by every bank. We match the licence, the activity and the shareholder profile against the institutions currently onboarding that profile, so the application lands with a bank in a position to say yes rather than with whoever is nearest.

Multi-Currency Operating Accounts

AED alongside USD, EUR, GBP and whichever settlement currencies your counterparties actually invoice in — so receipts are not converted twice and cross-border payments settle without an intermediary taking a cut on each leg.

KYC & Compliance File Preparation

Source of funds and source of wealth evidenced, ultimate beneficial ownership mapped through to the last natural person, and the business model written in the language the compliance team assesses it in. Where the bank offers a digital onboarding channel we run it that way and cut the branch visits down.

Digital Banking & Payment Integration

Corporate internet banking, multi-user approval limits, bulk payroll and WPS files, and — where the bank supports it — API or host-to-host connectivity into your accounting or ERP stack, so reconciliation stops being a monthly exercise.

What the bank will ask for

  • Corporate documents — trade licence, memorandum, share certificates, board resolution, and the passport and Emirates ID of every signatory and beneficial owner.
  • Substance — a tenancy contract or flexi-desk agreement, a working website or company profile, and evidence there are real operations behind the licence.
  • Business rationale — who the customers and suppliers are, which countries the money moves between, and the expected monthly turnover through the account.
  • Source of funds — where the opening capital came from, documented, and consistent with the shareholder’s declared profile.
